What Is Your Role At Relative Marketing?
Here at Relative I’m responsible for developing and maintaining our client’s websites. I spend the majority of my time working through code, whether that’s turning an initial design in to a fully functioning site or implementing additional functionality, I’m your man!
What Do You Enjoy Most About Working At Relative Marketing?
Being a part of the relative team is great mainly because of the exciting projects I get to work on day in day out. I love that the owners Rob and Simon are more than happy to let me be creative in my work and try new things.
What Is Your Background?
I started building websites when I was 15 using a website similar to MySpace called Piczo. I was really interested in building websites of my own and so went on to study Interactive Media at the Manchester College of Art and Technology (MANCAT). I continued studying Art and Design at Bolton Community College, where at the time, websites were built using sliced photoshop files and html tables! I soon found WordPress and quickly realised developing websites (as opposed to designing them) was what I really loved to do. Fast forward 10+ years and here I am today!
What Do You Get Up To In Your Spare Time?
I spend the majority of my time with my girlfriend Elysha and our daughter Ava! I like reading and going to the cinema and I also spend quite a lot of time on personal projects to keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies.
