AutoTools specialise in distributing the some of the most advanced automotive equipment on the market and they came to us to re-develop their website because their old website didn’t reflect that image. Although their site was driving traffic and was ranking for highly searched search terms it wasn’t converting many sales because it was difficult for users to navigate. The AutoTools team specified that they wanted to carry on ranking for these search terms and wanted a website that could be easily navigated and covert prospects into sales.
After the first meeting with Auto Tools we realised that creating a full ecommerce website with all the products that was on their original site would take a while to develop because of the vast range of products that would needed to be added to the site. The plan was to build a holding webpage with their information on whilst we develop the full thing. We also carried on optimising the holding page for keywords that they want to rank for by adding quality content that would be valuable to users.
By doing this we have seen a significant increase in their google ranking and we will be able to add this content to their new site when it has been fully developed and is ready to go live.
