Expanding Our Team – Administrator Amy

Here, one of our newest team members Amy, tells us all about her role at Relative Marketing…

What is your Role at Relative Marketing?

I started at Relative in July and officially my job title is Administrator but my role is quite varied. I manage the switchboard and emails which means I am usually the first point of contact for new and existing clients, manage the company’s social media pages and do research for any projects we’re working on, as well as the usual admin, invoicing, mail, filing etc.

 

What do you enjoy most about working at Relative Marketing?

The atmosphere in Relative is really positive, everyone has a unique perspective and it’s great how ideas are bounced around the office and how everyone’s opinion is taken into account. I really feel like my input matters.

 

What is your background?

I started off in commercial insurance based in Manchester and shortly after obtaining my CII Qualification I decided it wasn’t the industry I wanted to work in (doh!). I soon realised that I thrive in customer-focused roles and for the last 6 years I have managed offices in Bolton and Manchester for Regus Management and then a Support Agency before coming to Relative.

 

What do you get up to in your spare time?

Most of the time I’m at home doing the washing! We have a very busy household and between me, my husband Tom, our 6 year old son Jacob, our 2 dogs and our cat things can get pretty chaotic! We like going for walks with the dogs and I have just recently joined a running club, however it’s more of a jogging club for me at the moment!
